The Maxtra+ Plus Hard Water Expert replacement filter is Brita's most powerful filter, with 50% greater calcium reduction.

It is compatible with all Brita pitchers.

It is suitable for areas with medium and hard water.

Effectively reduces: limescale, heavy metals such as lead and copper, and chemicals such as chlorine.

For optimal performance, replace the filter every 4 weeks or after consuming 150 liters.

MicroFlow Technology

The MicroFlow technology reduces:

  • metals, such as lead and copper chloride
  • other substances that affect taste

Instructions for Use

  • Fill the clean Brita pitcher with cold water
  • Immerse the filter in cold water, gently shaking to reduce any air bubbles
  • Firmly place the filter into the funnel until you hear a click
  • Filter and discard the first two fillings of filtered water
  • Your filter is now ready for use

    I bought the filters for hard water. They do their job perfectly. They can handle 130 liters in very hard water. That's about it though. The taste of the water is like bottled water. I put the water in the kettle to test it with the salts. The kettle boiled, and the water crystallized!!! They do their job perfectly. I highly recommend them for very hard water
