    After 6 months of daily use, I can report 3 negatives:
    1) Ice is difficult to remove.
    2) In the past 2 weeks, 2 very small holes have opened, resulting in only 2 out of 4 ice trays functioning.
    3) Due to the excessive effort, uniformity in the ice is rarely achieved

    Quite soft silicone , can easily release ice cubes. The ice cubes are large enough (6x6cm) and do not melt fast. I have been using them for over 5 years and material does not smell or appear compromised (though I never wash item with hot water or in dish washer).
