Description & Specifications

Ligatex Hand Pruner from France

The LIGATEX is a convenient, quick, and economical tool that has been used for many years in large vineyards in France, Germany, Italy, and Australia. The Ligatex binding shears stand out for their ergonomics, offering comfort and speed compared to systems with special wire.

It is a lighter and easier-to-use option, ideal for tying up vines. The tool is operated with one hand, providing control over the branch with the other hand. It is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users, allowing for use even while wearing gloves.

The time for a binding is estimated at 3 seconds at most. The binding gradually weakens until it breaks when it's time for the wood to be pulled.

Features:
  • Galvanized wire 0.40mm (0.44mm optional)
  • Can make 1100 to 1200 bindings with one spool (using 0.40mm wire)
  • Weight with the full spool approximately 500g
  • In case of a mistake, the wire can be quickly put back into place
  • Lubricated with vaseline, cleaned with gasoline
  • Manufactured in France
