With pomegranates, the seeds are inside the walls and covered with this white membrane. When you put the pomegranate inside and squeeze it, only the first layer releases the juice.
No matter how much force you apply on the lever, the pomegranate does not get squeezed. I would say that 80% of the pomegranate remains untouched. I tried different techniques and ideas on how to do it, so that the whole pomegranate can be squeezed, but unfortunately, nothing works.
The same thing happens with grapefruit. It squeezes the fruit on the surface. No matter how much you press the lever, no matter how much force you apply, the fruit remains untouched. Then you have to squeeze it again with a traditional juicer, where you can see how little juice this specific press produces.
The product is not worth it, not even for free, meaning even if they give it to you as a gift, it is a waste of time to deal with it.
After using it, I packed it as I received it and threw it in the blue recycling bin.
