Wood stove A-2 from the manufacturer Misailidis Foundries, energy class "B". It is an easy and economical solution to heat your home or cottage. Its installation is simple and low-cost, as is its maintenance. You can even use wood briquettes.
It consists of the combustion chamber, the ash collection container at the bottom, and the chimney. It is placed in any space at a certain distance from the wall to properly install the chimney. As a general rule, the better ventilated the space, the more efficient and safe the use of the stove will be.
It is made of cast iron, which means it takes a little longer to heat up compared to a steel stove. However, it has the advantage of retaining the heat it accumulates for a longer time after the fire goes out, keeping the room warm. Cast iron is considered the most suitable material for heating devices due to its good thermal conductivity and high heat resistance.
It is suitable for heating a space up to 40 square meters.
Its efficiency (60%) is the percentage of fuel that is converted into useful heat. The higher the efficiency, the better the stove, as heat losses are reduced.
Instructions for the proper use of the wood stove:- Use dry wood, at least 2 years old
- Initially place a small amount of wood and gradually increase.
- Clean the surfaces when the wood stove is cold.
- Clean the glass when it is cold.
- Dry (up to 20% moisture) and dense (olive, oak, fir, beech) woods are much more efficient in combustion.
