it is not a big plate, is 29x21 cm, 2 mm thick. it defrosted an ice cube in 5 min. i will try it also with meat. it seemed like sorcery..after doing some research about these defrosting trays, they say is safer to defrost it in the freezer the night before, to avoid growing bacteria on the meat at room temperature.

It does what it promises, but at least I didn't see a big difference compared to the way I used to defrost especially steaks until now, I expected something better

It actually does what it says, and the ice cube test proves it. Specifically, a 'ball' of frozen seafood stuck to a body filled with ice thawed in less than half the time it took before purchasing the plate.
