Silicone Water-Repellent Final Coating in Paste Form.

Sika ThermoCoat®-5 HS Silic is a silicone-based, ready-to-use, water-repellent product in paste form, for use as a final coating and protective layer. It is available in two different grain sizes (Fine & Medium) and in a wide range of colors, depending on the aesthetically desired result of the final surface.

Uses

  • Designed for use as a final coating for the External Thermal Insulation System (ETICS) Sika ThermoCoat®.
  • Suitable as a final coating for plasters in interior and exterior applications.
  • Suitable for application on concrete, masonry, plasterboard, and cement boards.
  • Complies with the requirements of EN 15824 as a coating for external and internal use, based on organic binders.

Features / Advantages

  • Excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation
  • Highly resistant to weather effects and aging
  • Very high elasticity and excellent workability
  • High breathability and excellent water repellency
  • Available in a wide range of colors
  • Available in various grain sizes to achieve the desired aesthetic result
  • According to EN 15824

  • CE marking and Declaration of Performance according to EN 15824 - Base coat of organic binding materials, for external and internal use on masonry.
  • CE marking and Declaration of Performance according to ETAG 004 - External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) with rendering.
