I was torn between the nano81 and the Q60t from Samsung .. so I decided to go with the nano796 50-inch with a VA panel for my room, and I will explain the reason. I want to clarify that VA panels are available in LG TVs in 50-60-70 and 82 inches. For those who are not familiar, this panel offers better blacks in the dark and the screen does not wash out. However, it does not have good viewing angles if you look at it from the sides, unlike IPS panels which have better viewing angles and slightly better results in bright rooms. I have been a proud owner of this TV for 3 days now and I am quite satisfied with it after making some adjustments to the picture. It does require some tweaking, but it is a very good mid-range TV option. I believe it is one of the best choices for its price, if not the best. I highly recommend it. Although I consider the Q60t slightly better at the moment, as it is faster and has more nits. For those who are not familiar, nits refer to the brightness each TV produces. It has stronger and vibrant colors and better HDR. However, it lacks in sound quality and has a strong white tone, unlike the nano796 which has balanced colors. I would describe it as a nice combination of LG and Samsung, as it has very vibrant and balanced colors. You can comfortably watch movies in the dark without the panel washing out, and during the day in a bright room, it provides satisfactory results when viewed directly and not from the sides. Another topic I wanted to address is gaming. I consider it better than both the Q60t and the nano81, as the Q60t washes out in some areas with intense lighting and blurs more in motion, unlike the nano796 which offers a more solid image without intense lighting, providing vibrant and realistic colors, similar to the nano81. The nano81 has lower nits and a much deeper black, but this results in the game appearing darker compared to the nano796, which has the appropriate brightness. I should also mention that the response time is the same in all three TVs, with a difference of 1 second, which is not noticeable. In terms of movies, it is quite good, although the Q60t slightly surpasses it with a wider color gamut and better HDR, offering saturated and dynamic colors, while the nano796 may not have such a wide color gamut, but it offers more realistic colors, similar to the nano81, and slightly better vibrancy, which can be adjusted in the screen settings. Finally, it presents a perfect image when watching broadcasts and sports events. In conclusion, I consider this TV to be one of the best, if not the best, choice under 500 euros! The only negative point I would mention is the response time for adjusting the colors, but it is quite fast. I hope I have helped you!
