A local shopkeeper gave it to me because I had a leak from a radiator that needed to be repaired without shutting off the water. I applied the product but it was difficult to stick to the metal even though I had sanded it. With more pressure and persistence it stuck, but the pressure pushed the water through the soft putty and it started to wash it away and dissolve it, so in the end it created a hole in the water. The packaging states that the product is waterproof and repairs, among other things, leaks, but it does not say that it should only be applied to dry surfaces, so there is some ambiguity regarding the recommended way of use. Anyway, for repairs while the water is running, the product doesn't work, so don't buy it for nothing.

I can't say that it sticks strongly, I wanted it for knife handles.... it doesn't even work for vulcanized paper.

I bought it to fix a crack from which water was leaking. I had tried silicone that didn't work. As it says in the description, it is waterproof and it worked perfectly. The only negative thing is that you have to mold it and it smells for a while, but overall it does its job.
