When installing a new head on an old air compressor of any brand, pay attention to the following:
- Wheel Diameter: Check the wheel diameter of the previous motor. Also check the flywheel. The number of head rotations depends on the motor's pulley and the head's flywheel. Allow a tolerance in rotations of at least 15% below the MAXIMUM.
- Oil in the Crankcase: Be sure to put oil in the crankcase before starting (SAE 40 or 30 or ISO 150).
- Rotation Direction: Check the rotation direction of the flywheel, which should follow the arc to cool the head.
- Belt Tightening: Properly tighten the drive belt and the fittings of the pipe that carries air to the air tank. Check the fittings for any leaks during operation.
- Pressure Switch and Check Valve: Check the pressure switch (automatic) and the check valve internally. Ensure there is a safety valve present.
- Suction Rate
- 1074 lt/min
- Recommended Engine Power
- 15 hp
