When placing a new head on an old compressor of any brand, pay attention to the following among others:
- Pulley diameter: Check the diameter of the pulley of the previous motor and the flywheel. The pulley of the motor and the flywheel of the head determine the number of revolutions of the head. Allow a tolerance in the revolutions of at least 15% below the MAXIMUM.
- Oil in the crankcase: Be sure to put oil in the crankcase before starting (SAE 40 or 30 or ISO 150).
- Direction of rotation: Check the direction of rotation of the flywheel. It should be according to the arc to cool the head.
- Drive belt: Properly tighten the drive belt and the joints of the pipe that transfers air to the air receiver. Check the joints for any leakage during operation.
- Pressure switch and check valve: Check the pressure switch (automatic) and the check valve internally. Ensure there is a safety valve.
- Suction Rate
- 1000 lt/min
- Recommended Engine Power
- 7.5 hp
