The FOCUS PX achieves 80 PLUS® Platinum certification with 92% efficiency at 50% system load.
Fan Button
The fan control button is located on the back of the power supply, next to the power switch. The image here shows how you can select different fan control modes that suit your needs.
Do not press the button if you want to include the fanless mode, which means the fan in the power supply will not spin when the power is under light load. Press the button if you want the fan to spin at all times, even at lower loads.
Fluid dynamic bearing fan
Your PC will have great durability over time thanks to the high-performance fluid dynamic bearing fan that manages to keep noise and heat levels low compared to ball bearing fans. The lubrication of the surface of the spheres reduces friction and vibration, thus reducing overall energy consumption. Thanks to the smooth and silent rotations of the fan and its sturdy construction, the fan's lifespan is quite long, reaching up to 50,000 hours at 40°C.
Cable-Free Arrangement
Seasonic engineers have implemented a new design feature, where instead of cables, the back panel and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) are connected with a copper plate. This innovative solution not only reduces the chances of production errors during manual installation, but also improves the quality of the power output.
Hybrid Silent Fan Control
The first, patented by Seasonic, advanced three-phase thermal control achieves optimal silence and cooling. This hybrid silent fan control operates in three stages: Fanless operation, silent operation, and cooling operation.

The Seasonic Focus PX protects your PC from excessive power (OPP), excessive voltage (OVP), voltage drop (UVP), overcurrent (OCP), overheating (OTP), and short circuit (SCP).
