ESP-EYE is a development board for image recognition and audio signal processing. It integrates an ESP32 chip, a 2-megapixel camera, and a digital microphone, 8MByte PSRAM, and 4MByte flash. It supports image transmission via Wi-Fi and debugging via Micro-USB.
The board provides a comprehensive AIoT solution, including the ESP-EYE board, the AI framework ESP-WHO, and the software SDK ESP-IDF, allowing users to explore the benefits of combined AI technology and IoT applications.
ESP-WHO is a face detection and recognition development framework designed for AIoT applications. Combined with the ESP-EYE board or other ESP32-based development boards and adding only a few peripherals such as cameras and displays, you can easily build a complete AIoT application.
The ESP-EYE board supports firmware recording via Windows or Linux computers, and you can also use Raspberry Pi for project development based on this board. For instance, using ESP-WHO for face detection and recognition, once the firmware is written for ESP-EYE with Windows or Raspberry Pi, you can connect your device to the board’s WIFI for image transmission or face detection.
