Generally, it doesn't require pressure. However, you need to press the two metallic elements it has, one with the index finger and one with the thumb, to turn on the light. If you don't press it, it doesn't work no matter how much pressure you apply. Now, as a product, I haven't seen improvement like I have with the creams I use. I've been using it for quite a while. So I don't know if it does what it promises.

This machine needs direct contact with the skin to open the light. It also needs pressure. The more pressure I apply, the more it opens for a while and then closes again. It doesn't work like that. It's better to buy an ionizer or a phototherapy mask instead of this gadget. It's convenient pocket-sized but it doesn't do what it promises.

It also has 2 light functions, red: Helps in collagen production and blue: For acne-prone skin.
I use the red light.
Finally, its battery has a long life.
I highly recommend it.

I have it here for a few days. I mainly needed it for cleaning. Honestly, I didn't expect it to clean deeply. My pores were visibly smaller and cleaner even after the first use. The other 2 functions are also excellent. Just two notes: firstly, be careful not to accidentally press the button during use and change the program, and secondly, it has a little difficulty cleaning around the corners of the nose. Fantastic product from what I was told (since I gave it as a gift). It does a great job and I preferred it over similar products because it is Xiaomi.
