Use only when necessary, mainly after storms, mud rain, or Egyptian sand. It does a very good job. I use it only with the pool’s manual vacuum & the valve set to Waste, never with automatic cleaning robots, because with the robot the dirt is recirculated inside the pool, while with Waste you take the dirt straight out to the drain & the water becomes crystal clear

Amazing product AS LONG AS one has also gotten a reliable pool bottom vacuum because the debris has intensity and extent resulting in the bottom of the pool, whether regular or plastic, filling up relatively quickly with various 'undesirables'.
