Roots Divino Rosso has a bittersweet character, where wormwood meets gentian and the aromas of bitter orange. Roots Divino is the first non-alcoholic vermouth in this category worldwide. It is the first time that a Greek company presents a significant innovation in the beverage sector, not on a Greek but on a global level. The name DIVINO has a double meaning: Di vino, meaning from wine, but not exactly wine, and Divine, meaning "divine," with a logo featuring a halo and implying that it contains no alcohol.
Vermouth has its roots in Ancient Greece and the wine of Hippocrates. Hippocrates made an early form of vermouth around 400 BC, infusing sweet Greek wine with wormwood and dittany to create a medicinal drink, Hippocratic wine, which was adopted by the Romans and developed in Northern Italy.
