It has a beautiful warm sound. I recently started learning the flute and I preferred it for its warm and alto sound. To help other beginners, I wanted to point out a few things. When playing the notes on the flute, it is good to have a chromatic tuner to see if and when you are blowing correctly and closing the flute holes as you should. For example, through personal practice and online observation, I noticed that in order to reach the bottom hole, the last one, the thumb of the right hand should be positioned behind the fifth hole, meaning the second finger (second meaning from the ones above the flute) of the right hand. This way, it is easy to close the last hole of the flute. Also, when blowing, it is important to blow consistently and blow the low notes less and the high notes more in order for them to sound correct. And when we need to partially close the back hole, we close it more than halfway, leaving a small gap. These are the things I wanted to point out to help others... thank you.
