Top! With Rohnson Suprema, and also the Rohnson R-98094 grinder, setting at 9 clicks, and extraction at 10-11 bar, 19 g of coffee, and 39 g of extraction, perfect result! During grinding, the whole kitchen smelled like coffee. In a separate room where I left the coffee, and when I went back after a while, the aroma of the coffee was still there!

It arrived very fresh and kudos to the company for that. Compared to the Guatemala, also from Black Bart, which I bought together for testing, I liked it less in terms of taste; it is somewhat more bitter, neutral, watery, and heavy. Maybe that's because it has 20% robusta. Other than that, nice aroma, good crema. However, I will definitely choose the Guatemala again, with which I am thrilled.

Good for hot espresso, full body and crema, "flat" taste (classic washed) but nothing special.

Seven Seas is perhaps the only one worth it from Blck Bart. Quality, taste, aroma, freshly roasted, it is a class above Hausbrandt and similar coffees. It is perfect both for cold and hot coffee.

Very good for freddo, I have no opinion for hot. It has a very good aroma and body, and you can immediately tell that you are drinking something high-quality and refined.

So far, it is definitely in the top 3 of my favorite espressos with the equipment I have*.
It seems balanced and easy to drink, almost without acidity. It is dark (but not pitch black like those from supermarkets), so it is easier to achieve a consistently pleasant result. I clarify this because several 'in-the-know' 100% Arabica have more intense and unique flavors but are also harder to extract correctly. In particular, medium and light roasts do not forgive mistakes.
If you have a 'restless' palate, good equipment, and good technique, then something with more character might suit you. But if you - like me - are not a super coffee master and want something that resembles the classic Italian dark espresso, then this blend is superb!
I have purchased it twice: both times it arrived 1-3 weeks after roasting.

* I have a Dedica 685 and grind on a Specialita. I put 17.5g in a non-pressurized basket and yield about 40g in 27-30".

On black bart's website, seven seas is considered a filter coffee. I saw this after ordering 1 kilo of this blend. On an espresso machine at 9 bars, it came out very bitter in a ratio of 18-36g in 25 seconds. I had to grind much coarser and extract the same ratio in 15 seconds to get an extraction with a little sweetness.

Coffee of medium intensity, with a nice taste of chocolate and butter once it cools slightly, but it didn't impress me. Considering the price and the fact that it is a blend of 80% arabica and 20% robusta, I believe there are better options available.

If the price was around 15-20€ per kilo, I would say it's worth it. But at around 30€ per kilo, you can find better 100% Arabica beans and not get this blend from hell.

I was amazed by the coffee. Perhaps one of the best I have ever bought. Very fresh, roasted 2 weeks ago, with easy extraction. The taste is ideal for my personal taste. As soon as it cools slightly, it releases intense sweetness and buttery chocolate. I believe that it is worth every penny and more, and I will definitely buy it again 100%!

Very good in cold. Warm didn't match my taste so much. Nevertheless, it is one of the best I have tried.

Sweet and smooth coffee, with intensity and strong aroma

The coffee is undrinkable... I don't know how to describe its taste, it's not bitter but it has the taste of water with too much chlorine (using a filter at home). Even some relatives who tried it, and they are not picky in general, cannot drink it. Hopefully, it's just my personal opinion and others might like it.

Personally, I did not like it at all, neither cold nor hot. Its taste is very diluted and watery. Moderate flavor and almost no aftertaste. I had high expectations but it ultimately did not meet my expectations. However, coffee is purely a matter of taste. Its taste did not sit well with me.

It is delicious coffee. What I really appreciated is that it is exactly as described on the packaging. Roasted nuts with dark chocolate, without being bitter like pure 100% cocoa. I don't know how to describe it, but ION could have made this coffee. The best part is that the aftertaste lingers discreetly for minutes, which is also mentioned on the packaging.
