    It produces wines with intense tannins, full body, and characteristic aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, black cherry), often with notes of cedar, mint, or tobacco. They have excellent aging potential.

    Agiorgitiko

    It can produce from rosé and light red wines with aromas of fresh red fruits (strawberry, cherry), to dense, aged wines with aromas of plum jam, spices, and chocolate. The tannins are usually velvety.

The color is bright medium-intensity violet with a rosy hue. The nose is lively and intense with aromas of black cherries and blackberries with hints of plum, violet, and dried herbs. The palate is medium-bodied with moderate acidity and soft, round tannins – all in harmony. The finish is of moderate intensity with an anise seed finish.
