I bought it for 13.98 at the beginning of January 2022. It is smaller in size than what I had as a kid. The box was wrapped in cellophane, just like the contents.
The product title stated 2,000 built-in games. It actually has 9,999,999!!! Yes, you read that right, 10 million minus 1. However, there are only a few games in practice, and they constantly repeat. I haven't counted exactly how many there are, but I estimate around 40 or so. Maybe even more, I'm not sure. It doesn't have Tetris for those who want it.
The positives:
- It has classic games like Super Mario, Contra, Duck Hunt, etc., and many others.
- It includes all the accessories: console, 2 controllers, 1 gun, cables for connecting to the TV, and a power adapter with a cable to plug into the socket.
- Very affordable.
- It can be connected to modern TVs.
- The remote control is lightweight and doesn't tire your hands.
- The controllers are small, suitable for children with small hands.
The negatives:
- Obviously, the construction is cheap for 10-15 euros (expected).
- It has fewer different games than advertised (expected).
- Short cables.
- The gun, although functional, doesn't hit the targets. It may be due to the TV: Hitachi 65 inches 2019.
- The cables had a little melted plastic from the packaging's phenolic stuck on them. It's nothing, easily cleaned with a wet wipe, but it makes me wonder if it has been exposed to high temperatures at some point, causing the plastic to melt and potentially leading to faster damage. So far, it's working fine.
- It doesn't come with an HDMI cable, but an older generation one, as shown in the photo I uploaded.
On a large TV, the image pixelates quite a bit and loses quality. I believe it would look much better on a 32-inch TV.
Conclusion:
You get what you pay for, but personally, I am very satisfied and would buy it again, even if it were slightly more expensive because it reminds me of my childhood, and it's perfect for young ages who find it difficult to play more complex games.
Now I see that it is temporarily unavailable on Skroutz (maybe I got the last piece?). However, I see that it is available from other stores, 5-10 euros more expensive and with a different title.
Edit 13/1/22: I connected it to a 32-inch TV, and it was noticeably better. However, because the cables are short, it is still somewhat tiring for extended periods. The gun still didn't work properly. It functions, but it doesn't hit the targets. I suspect it's due to the TV technology.
Το πήρα 13,98 αρχές Ιανουαρίου 2022. Πιο μικρό σε μέγεθος από αυτό που είχα ως πιτσιρίκι. Το κουτί ήταν τυλιγμένο με σελοφαν όπως και το περιεχόμενο.
Στον τίτλο το προϊόν έγραφε 2.000 παιχνίδια built in. Τελικά έχει 9.999.999!!! Ναι σωστά διαβάσατε, 10 εκατομμύρια παρά 1. Ωστόσο είναι λίγα τα παιχνίδια που έχει στην πράξη και συνεχώς επαναλαμβάνονται. Δεν έχω μετρήσει πόσα ακριβώς είναι αλλά εικάζω καμία 40αριά; Ίσως και παραπάνω, δεν είμαι σίγουρος. Δεν έχει Tetris για όποιον το θέλει.
Τα θετικά:
- έχει τα κλασσικά παιχνίδια πχ super mario, contra, duck hunt κλπ και αρκετά άλλα ακόμα
- έχει όλα τα εξαρτήματα: κονσόλα, 2 τηλεχειριστήρια, 1 πιστόλι, καλώδια για σύνδεση με την τηλεόραση και μετασχηματιστή με καλώδιο για να μπαίνει στην πρίζα
- πολύ οικονομικό
- συνδέεται και με νέας τεχνολογίας τηλεοράσεις
- ελαφρύ τηλεχειριστήριο, δεν κουράζει
- μικρα τηλεχειριστήρια, κάνουν και για μικρά παιδιά που δεν έχουν μεγάλα χέρια.
Τα αρνητικά:
- προφανώς για 10-15 ευρώ η κατασκευή είναι φτηνή/της πλάκας (αναμενόμενο)
- λιγότερα διαφορετικά παιχνίδια από όσα αναγράφει (αναμενόμενο)
- μικρού μήκους καλώδια
- το πιστόλι ενώ λειτουργεί, δεν πετυχαίνει τους στόχους. Πιθανώς να παίζει ρόλο η τηλεόραση: Hitachi 65 ιντσών 2019
- τα καλώδια είχαν ΛΙΓΟ λιωμένο πλαστικό από το φενιζολ της συσκευασίας κολλημένο πάνω τους. Δεν είναι τίποτα, καθαρίστηκε εύκολα με ένα μωρομαντηλο, απλά με βάζει σε σκέψεις μήπως έχει φάει σε κάποια φάση μεγάλες ζέστες με αποτέλεσμα να λιώσει το πλαστικό και έτσι να χαλάσει πιο γρήγορα. Μέχρι στιγμής πάντως παίζει καλά
- δεν έχει hdmi καλώδιο, αλλά παλαιάς γενιάς όπως φαίνεται στη φωτογραφία που ανέβασα.
Σε μεγάλη τηλεόραση πιξελιάζει αρκετά και χάνει σε ποιότητα η εικόνα, θεωρώ ότι σε μια 32άρα θα δείχνει πολύ καλύτερα.
Συμπέρασμα:
ό,τι πληρώνεις παίρνεις αλλά προσωπικά είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος και θα το ξαναεπαιρνα ακόμα και λίγο πιο ακριβό γιατί μου θυμίζει τα νιάτα μου + είναι ό,τι πρέπει για μικρές ηλικίες που δεν τους είναι εύκολο να παίξουν πιο σύνθετα παιχνίδια.
Τώρα είδα ότι είναι προσωρινά μη διαθέσιμο στο Skroutz (ίσως να πήρα το τελευταίο κομμάτι;;). Ωστόσο βλέπω ότι υπάρχει από άλλα μαγαζιά, 5-10 ευρώ πιο ακριβά και με άλλο τίτλο.
Edit 13/1/22: το σύνδεσα και σε 32άρα και ήταν σαφώς καλύτερα, ωστόσο επειδή τα καλώδια έχουν μικρό μήκος είναι και πάλι κάπως κουραστικό για πολλή ώρα. Το πιστόλι πάλι δε δούλεψε όπως πρέπει. Λειτουργεί δηλαδή αλλά δεν πετυχαίνει τους στόχους. Εικάζω λόγω τεχνολογίας τηλεόρασης.
