DPF particulate filter (soot) with a length of 420 mm, reinforced with silicon carbide (SiC) for better thermal resistance and durability. The DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) is installed in the exhaust system of diesel vehicles to reduce soot emissions, ensuring compliance with European and Greek emission standards.

Its main function is to filter toxic, microscopic particles emitted with the engine's exhaust gases, reducing harmful particulate emissions in the atmosphere by 80%. Regular "burning" of the retained particulates is required for DPF regeneration, as accumulated soot can block the filter's function.
