The VC-1 reproduces the precise tone of a cello without modification to the instrument. A wooden piezo sensor is securely placed at the "eye" of the instrument's bridge, held in place by friction. Shim disks ensure a perfect fit. The 1/4 jack socket is securely attached to the tailpiece with Velcro. The VC-1 is passive, designed to work with your favorite amplifier or to be colored through a preamp selection.
