Old were the best charcoals by far. Now the quality has dropped significantly, the last 2 boxes I've bought (from different stores about 1.5 months apart) were terrible. Half of them took a long time to light up, many pieces were uneven, and they left significantly more ash. I won't be choosing them again, unfortunately.
