This Olympic Bar uses 8 needle bearings, 4 in each rotating sleeve and 1 metal bushing, for smooth sleeve rotation, designed to reduce pressure on the wrists and arms.

Designed to meet the needs of exercises such as snatch and clean & jerk, weight plates are secured with the knurling on the sleeve, providing greater friction and reducing the wobble of the plates during weightlifting workouts.
