For my friend Oscotron who installed the Samsung EVO 980 in the M2 ngff slot, it is unfortunate that it is a different socket. It has 5 pins instead of the necessary 6. I also made the mistake with the slight difference in the pins. If you look at photo No. 5, you will understand the difference between one and the OTHER. Be careful, especially if you have data inside, and say goodbye to it immediately. In older PCs, it provides speed BUT it strains the CPU...

It burned immediately after installation. It almost took my 980 evo with it. Do not buy this product, it is a fire hazard.

It was installed on a Gigabyte Z87X-D3H motherboard that did not have a base for MVMe and it works perfectly and allows maximum speeds. In the photo, a comparison is made between SATA SSD and MVMe.
