We bought the refrigerator in 2013, replacing a Siemens one that lasted us about 15 years. After 8 years of use and having read all the reviews, I decided to share my own experience.

As soon as we put the refrigerator into operation for the first time, I started recording the temperature in the storage compartment. Digital thermometers, analog thermometers, and measurement after measurement. The conclusion I reached was that the temperature shown by the thermometers in the storage area was higher than the temperature shown on the control panel. I don't remember the exact temperature difference in Celsius, but I remember being concerned because the €840 we spent on it was not a small amount of money. I lowered the temperature on the control panel from 3 to 1 degree to lower the temperature in the storage compartment a bit. I don't remember how much it decreased, as 8 whole years have passed since then.

Since then, I haven't dealt with it again. We load it every week and it does its job. The fact that it cools water quickly and the children's milk doesn't spoil, even a day after its expiration date, is indicative of its good performance. I also don't remember ever having spoiled food.

We removed the extra shelf so that a small pot or taller container could fit. It has an ice tray that empties all the ice cubes with a small sliding shelf.

As for noise, I don't know if it makes any for some people. I don't hear anything. I hear the dehumidifier more than the refrigerator.

Choosing this refrigerator was necessary because the old one was built-in and this one fit the dimensions of the space.

I deduct one star because the digital indicators on the control panel are no longer readable. Half of the elements have burned out. Only half of the line is visible from the number 1. If you don't know, you have to guess -20. Unfortunately, this problem is more widespread. The same thing happened with the indicators on our kitchen's ceramic hobs.

The conclusion is that we have a large, beautiful, efficient refrigerator with very good storage space and very nice interior lighting. (As long as the LED lights don't start burning out)

I bought the refrigerator 2 months ago after thorough research. Although I wanted a red-colored refrigerator, the options on the market did not satisfy me practically, so I started looking at the silver ones. Having heard and experienced that German-made refrigerators die after a few years, I decided to try Samsung, which has a 10-year warranty. Also, I can say that even though it is a common color, it is still beautiful. Note that I have the refrigerator in a place that does not border anything else. In other words, it is completely free, so I wanted something presentable. Also, it doesn't have as much of an issue with fingerprints as other refrigerators.

It is very spacious with beautiful LED lighting inside, as well as useful indicators on the outside of the door. It has a large freezer, of course, at the expense of refrigeration space, but I consider it sufficient because it is a 70-liter one. And if the second drawer in the refrigerator bothers some people, you can simply remove it.

The cooling has been working exceptionally well so far. I have heard about problems that arose, but many of them are due to the fact that many consumers rush to plug it in immediately after delivery. So, place the refrigerator in its position and ideally start it up after 24 hours so that the refrigerant settles properly.

In the freezer, I particularly like that it has rotating ice trays to make ice cubes, and with one turn, they fall into the appropriate compartment. I have seen refrigerators where the ice cubes stick and don't fall, etc., but it seems that the full no frost and good materials work well here.

I was also completely satisfied with Samsung's service, as I wanted to change the door's direction. Within 2 days, we scheduled an appointment, and the technician came and made the change for me. Pay attention here because I almost made a mistake since Samsung provides free door direction change within 7 days of receiving the refrigerator. I accidentally scheduled the appointment on the 7th day!

Lastly, I want to mention the issue of noise. I had heard and read many complaints about the noise, but in the end, I decided to take the risk. After 2 months of use, I can say that it is not silent, but it is not particularly loud either. I don't know how silent a refrigerator can be, of course. However, it does make a subtle humming noise that I don't even notice most of the time, and when I do notice it, it is not bothersome, and I forget about it immediately.

As another user says, "Stay away from Samsung RL4353FBASL/E. I bought it and I don't have a refrigerator... It doesn't have good cooling in the preservation section..." After a battle with the dealership, they replaced it and the new one also has a problem with preservation. I note the following:
1. The problem is that while the indications of the refrigerator are 3 and -19 respectively, the actual temperature in the preservation section ranges between 9 and 12 degrees Celsius!!!
2. Technicians outside of Samsung are aware of the problem with preservation.
3. Greek Samsung is also aware of it to the extent that as soon as you mention the problem, a technician comes with the circuit boards and all the comforts to repair a 3-day-old refrigerator!!!
4. Nevertheless, the company does not withdraw it from the market and continues to sell it!!!
5. It should also be noted that this particular company and its dealership have negative reviews on the corresponding website in the US and are considered bad with a rating of 1 star!!!!

I bought this refrigerator in 2013. In 2015, while it was still under warranty, I noticed that it doesn't cool the food properly. I had to throw away some items either because they were rotting (fruits) or because they smelled bad (meat). I called the company and reported the issue. They were willing to send a technician to examine the problem. Eventually, they came, installed a temperature recorder, and the next day they confirmed that indeed it doesn't cool properly and started repairing it. After replacing some parts, they installed the temperature recorder again and left. When they returned, they realized that the problem still persists and they replaced the refrigerator for me. The issue is that even with the second refrigerator, the problem remains. So, I had to compromise and make some spatial adjustments to "coexist" with this refrigerator. What I mean is that I place sensitive foods (meat, etc.) in the drawer right above the freezer, where the temperature ranges between 5-7 degrees for a short period of time. If it's for a longer period, I place them in the freezer, which is spacious and very efficient. The rest of the food (vegetables, fruits, etc.) I put on the top shelves and in the door, where the temperature fluctuates between 8-12 degrees, and I make sure to consume them within a few days.

FINAL CONCLUSION: I don't know how the new refrigerators are and if companies are trying to reduce electricity consumption by making them less efficient. What I do know is that this refrigerator is useless because it spoils the food and doesn't do the job one expects from a refrigerator. Therefore, look for another brand so you don't end up like me.
