I had the one plus 8 pro and the 10 pro, but I think the 9 pro is much better than them. Very nice screen. Powerful speakers. I thought about getting the 11 for the camera, but in the end, whoever wants an excellent camera is better off getting a camera. I don't know if it's worth changing your phone just for the camera. After the upgrade to Oxygen OS 13, the battery improved at least 20% and the camera is simply flawless, even in low-light conditions. I compared photos with the iPhone 13 in night mode, and the OnePlus 9 Pro is simply twice as realistic in what you see and what you capture. It's incredibly fast, never lags. If you find it for €600 - €650, there's no need for a second thought. The screen is simply amazing. I can't find anything negative. Maybe the only thing I can say is that it's a bit heavy but sturdy. I don't play games for hours. Its charging is just what you want. You can charge it and in 15 minutes, you're at +50% from where you were. Very satisfied for the past 6 months.

The mobile was purchased on 3/5/2022.
Positive:
1: Good build quality, although it slips without a case.
2: Nice screen with beautiful colors and good HDR, but a bit dark and difficult to see under the sun.
3: Powerful and clear sound with stereo speakers at the same volume for both, unlike the call speaker which is like an assistant.
4: Very fast 65W charging, but the phone heats up.Negative:
1: Very poor battery management, lasts only 4 to 5 hours of full usage compared to my old phone (Huawei P30 Pro) which easily lasted a day with full usage.
2: Bad Android 12 (Oxygen OS 12) with many bugs and poor battery management. Not that the 11 is much better, but it doesn't have as many bugs.
3: Bad fingerprint sensor, often gets stuck.
4: The phone lags and struggles for no reason even in simple tasks at 60Hz.
5: Very dark screen that is difficult to see in the sun.
6: The back of the phone, although made of glass, feels like plastic.
7: Good cameras, but the Hasselblad name is only there for show, not like Huawei phones where it seems Leica has had a hand in the cameras.
8: Good processor, but in other phones with the same (SD888) it performs faster and more smoothly.
9: I installed Color OS 12 hoping things would improve, but it became much worse than Oxygen OS 12, so I switched back to Oxygen 11.At first impression, the phone is not worth the 800€ at all. I have had the oneplus 7t, 8t, and now the oneplus 9 pro. It's a very good phone, but you need to buy a case because it's quite slippery (I have the official carbon case which I consider the best case) and install the whitestone dome screen protector. So, it costs an additional +70-80€. After the arrival of the oneplus 10 pro, there is no reason to upgrade (personal opinion). The camera is very good and you can install the GCam. Battery charging has personally covered me. With 12GB+7vram, it's more than enough. The android 12 version was disappointing on all phones, and we are waiting for the 13. It's a good choice to buy if you don't want to upgrade to the oneplus 10 pro.

The display is simply the best display I have seen on a phone. It is 120Hz with QHD resolution, has incredible colors that are fully customizable to your preferences. The brightness is also satisfactory even under sunlight.- SOUND
Regarding sound, coming from the S20+, I can say that I didn't notice significant differences. Maybe the OnePlus 9 Pro is slightly louder, but both devices have excellent sound quality whether you are watching a movie or listening to music.- SPEED AND PERFORMANCE
I don't have much to say about speed. Anyone who has ever used a OnePlus smartphone knows. But for those who haven't, the OnePlus 9 Pro is the fastest Android smartphone you can buy right now (excluding gaming phones). I have it for two months now. It has a serious overheating problem, especially during games (I'm not talking about PUBG... lighter games with less graphics). In half an hour, it gets so hot that you think it will explode, and if you want to record a video, it won't let you. Now, with the heat, it overheats WITHOUT even using it. I haven't been to the beach yet, but 99% it will get hot. 2. The battery lasts 5 to 6 hours with full use. 3. The fingerprint sensor gets scratched easily, like in most phones that have it on the screen. 4. The cameras are not good for the price, if it cost 600 euros max, I would say they are good. 5. There are no screen protectors that fit properly on the screen (due to its curvature), and OnePlus has not released a screen protector. In all other aspects, it is flawless.
26/12/21 after almost 8 months, I can say that it has improved a lot in terms of overheating. The phone heats up eggs only if I have Google Maps open along with the camera. The screen has a crack at the bottom where the fingerprint is, because I was carrying something and holding the phone. I pressed the screen a little harder while it was very hot.
During the summer with the extreme heat, in everyday use and at the beach, the phone's temperature would rise 30 times a day along with the corresponding message that it "reduces performance due to overheating."

Did you find this review helpful? I have it since 2/4 and I can say that the mobile is incredible. Amazing screen, awesome camera, very fast (ok we knew that), battery that easily lasts the whole day and most importantly, charging is non-existent, 28 minutes from 1% to 100%. By the time you get ready in the morning, it has already charged while others are still struggling to charge. Of course, there was no chance I would buy it from Greece but I bought it from the official site with a wireless charger and a case as a gift when others don't even have a charger.
I stayed without a mobile for a month and a half because anything else is irrelevant, but it was worth it and more.

I have been using this specific device for 10 days now, but I have been using Oneplus devices for years, so it doesn't surprise me that the phone is fast, reliable, doesn't lag, its operating system is user-friendly, simple, and beautiful. I love it.
The build quality is also very good, which again doesn't surprise me coming from Oneplus.
The screen is gorgeous. It has incredibly vibrant colors. If you watch videos in high resolution, you'll be amazed. It's not too curved at the edges, so accidental touches are avoided.
The charging speed is unreal (from 0 to 100% in 29 minutes).
The battery is satisfactory and easily lasts a whole day, but to achieve this, you shouldn't have the screen in QHD+ mode, meaning maximum resolution. If you have the maximum resolution, then unfortunately, with demanding use, you'll need to charge it before the afternoon. Of course, even with simple FHD+ resolution, the screen is wonderful.
The camera disappointed me. It definitely takes very good photos and videos, but not always. Someone who knows about photography and takes a proper shot from a good angle and with the right lighting will capture a beautiful photo, but for a regular user who simply takes out their phone from their pocket and clicks, the result is always surprising. I compared it to the iPhone 11 and concluded that the iPhone's camera is much more reliable, meaning you'll almost always get a very good result, while with the OP 9 Pro, you may need to take 2-3-5 shots again until you get the perfect photo, especially when you're in a closed space with lamp lighting. In portrait mode, sometimes it blurs the object you want to capture at the edges and not just the background. I'm sure there will be software updates that will fix many of the things I mentioned, and I repeat that the cameras are very good, but I got annoyed because they're not reliable, meaning they don't always produce the best photo they can. Some photos you see are flawless, and with some others, you wonder what went wrong, as if you took them with a different phone. However, the video is very good, as well as the night mode.
Overall, I believe it's a very good device, and I don't regret buying it. It provides speed, a perfect screen, it's waterproof, has fast charging and fast wireless charging, the software is great, but I think if someone simply wants to take very good photos without trying too hard, maybe they should look elsewhere at the moment.

Their video has evolved, nothing like what they have done so far. With a good 8K or 4K at 120fps, with perfect clarity and optical stabilization, it's just what you need. Their software is very user-friendly with all the functions and very smooth in combination with its screen, it's top-notch!! The screen is amazing. Very good colors and not tiring to the eye at all. Also, in terms of battery life, they have reached the other extreme. With 2%, 25 minutes are enough for a full charge. I won't say much about the processing power, just impressive! It runs games and you realize it's the flagship.
