Sensor Type

Sensor Type

The sensor is the mechanism by which the mouse understands at what distance and with what speed we move it in order to translate our movement into cursor movement on the screen.

Optical
The most common type of sensor in gaming mice, lighter, more durable and accurate than lasers on non-glossy surfaces.
Sensor Resolution
16000 DPI

Sensor Resolution: 16000

The sensor resolution refers to how small changes on the surface can be recognized by the sensor. In practice, with higher resolution, larger movements can be made with less mouse movement.

For example, many gamers prefer low resolution for greater accuracy in FPS games, while they prefer higher resolution in real-time strategy games.

Many mice have settings either through software or buttons so that they can operate at lower resolutions.

Usually preferred resolutions are:

2.
  •  400-800 DPI for MOBA (League of Legends, DOTA)
  •  400-1000 DPI for FPS (Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, Doom)
  •  1000-1200 DPI for RTS (StarCraft, Age of Empires)
  •  1000-1600 DPI for MMORPG (World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls)

3. Most gaming mice have adjustable DPI settings, so you can operate them at lower resolutions.

4. Higher resolutions are rarely useful, and are mainly used for show by manufacturers.
Number of Buttons
8

Number of Buttons

For most cases, 5-6 buttons are more than enough (Left/middle/right click, two programmable side buttons, and one for adjusting the sensor resolution).

2. Additional buttons offered by some mice are programmable buttons.

    1) GENESIS NMG-1841 KRYPTON 750 8000DPI RGB GAMING MOUSE - Purchase at €34
    2) Gigabyte Aorus M4 RGB Gaming Mouse 6400 DPI Black - Purchase at €35
    3) HAMA 186015 URAGE GAMING MOUSE REAPER 900 MORPH - Purchase at €15

Coming from the Genesis GX44, which had amazing precision, scrolling, etc. even though it was only €19 in 2015, comparable to high-end ones at €90 back then. After 8 years, it broke...

I bought Genesis again, but the Krypton 750 didn't have the same quality as the GX44... So I bought the Aorus M4, which was similar to the 750 but with buttons on the right...

Until I found the Reaper 900... I bought it and bam, it turned out to be the new diamond!

The mouse is unique, you can change the grip for comfort, especially for large hands. It has everything in terms of weight, especially considering its price. Even big companies don't offer these features for triple the price. Additionally, the fabric fiber cable is so light it's like it doesn't exist. But even though I fell in love with it, I don't know if it's just happening to me, but it disconnects. I checked it again and again, but nothing. I'm ready to buy it again, but I have my doubts about these things...

Incredible mouse for its price with weight and size adjustment, beautiful and customizable RGB through software and button programming/change (Download from HAMA's website), "known" sensors and overall great feeling as a first impression. Time will tell how it will perform functionally and I will come back.

Those of you who have searched for VFM mice and haven't found it yet, I'm here to tell you that this is THE MOST VFM mouse. Made by a German company, with high-end specifications for mice (16k dpi, 1000 hz, 3389 sensor, detachable sides, additional buttons, RGB fully customizable) at a ridiculously low price. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. It's the best mouse I've ever had (having tried g502, razer taipan, steelseries cod edition, g305, and various other cheaper models).
