Description

Filter coffee beans from the company Santos Extra, for those of you who want to enjoy a flavorful coffee at any time of the day. With a blend of selected 100% arabica varieties, it has a smooth & sweet taste, increased acidity, and contains less caffeine than a robusta variety coffee. Full-bodied coffee, with aromas of black tea and medium acidity, achieves the perfect balance between sweet and spicy. For the ideal result, the correct ratio of coffee to water plays an important role.

Water makes up 99% of the coffee's content, so the amount of coffee is crucial, as it will make the difference in whether the coffee ends up being light or strong.
Roughly speaking, for every liter of water, about 50-65g of coffee is needed. On a smaller scale, this means about 6g of coffee per 100ml of water or 2 heaping tablespoons for each cup with a capacity of around 300ml of water.

Since the largest percentage of the beverage is water, you should not overlook the importance of the water you use, as its quality can greatly alter the taste outcome of your coffee.

If the area where you live has hard water, it is better to avoid it and instead use bottled or alternatively filtered tap water, which is free from chlorine and other chemicals. The benefit will be twofold: the coffee will be tastier, and your coffee maker will function well in the long term.

Coffee storage: Coffee should be stored in an airtight container, in a dark place free from odors where room temperature prevails. Avoid storing your coffee in the refrigerator, as low temperatures solidify the oils inside the beans, which are responsible for a coffee with a full flavor and rich aroma. Grind a little coffee at a time, ideally only as much as you want to consume. This way, you will have freshly ground coffee each time, minimizing the alteration of aromas and taste.
