At a glance

The Mitsubishi Electric air conditioner combines elegant design, silent operation, and high energy efficiency, offering comfort and savings.

✔ With optional Wi-Fi control, advanced air purification filters, and the eco-friendly R32 refrigerant, it ensures a fresh, healthy environment with low power consumption.

✔ The smart Inverter technology automatically adjusts its operation, reducing usage costs, while its energy efficiency exceeds even class A++.

An air conditioner that thinks about you, your comfort, and the planet!

Style and performance together!

When design meets technology, the result is an elegant, modern, and at the same time powerful air conditioner. Its slim, compact construction fits perfectly in any space, offering high performance without "overloading" the room.

Control the climate from anywhere

What if you could control your air conditioner from wherever you are? With the optional Wi-Fi interface, you can! Adjust the temperature, turn it on or off from your mobile, tablet, or computer.

If you prefer something more traditional but equally advanced, the wired remote control (with the appropriate interface) and central control via M-NET give you complete flexibility in managing your air conditioner.

You can barely hear it!

No one wants an air conditioner that "growls" in the background. Mitsubishi Electric has ensured that the noise level is so low that you will forget it's even on. Enjoy coolness or warmth without annoying sounds disturbing your peace.

Fresh and clean air with every breath

It's not just an air conditioner – it's your personal air purifier! The high-performance filter traps bacteria, pollen, and allergens, improving the quality of the air you breathe.

Want something even more advanced? The Plasma Quad Connect is here for you! This innovative filtration system ensures even higher air quality, ideal for those with allergies or anyone who simply wants a healthier atmosphere.

Note: The Plasma Quad Connect is sold separately and you can find it here.

Smart operation, low consumption

Why waste electricity when you can save it? Inverter technologies automatically adjust the operation of the air conditioner to your needs, preventing unnecessary energy consumption. This means a lower electricity bill and a longer lifespan for your device!

And since Mitsubishi Electric is a strong player in the field of energy efficiency, your air conditioner can even exceed class A++, bringing ultimate savings to your heating and cooling.

Friendly to the planet and your wallet

With the eco-friendly refrigerant R32, you not only protect the environment, but also reduce maintenance costs. Low global warming potential, zero impact on the ozone layer, and a smaller energy footprint – all in one device that cares for both you and the planet!

Why choose it?

  • Elegant and compact design – Ideal for small spaces with high performance.
  • Wi-Fi & Central Control (optional) – Remote management capability via smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Cons

  • Few filters: Only one basic washable filter.

I bought a 9,000 BTU and a 12,000 BTU unit in June 2022 for two different rooms. I have only used them for cooling. (UPDATE: I have also used the units for heating - they heat the room well, with the same noise levels as in cooling mode, without any creaking. They take a little while to reach the desired temperature, which is expected.)

The most important thing for me was the low noise level of the indoor unit. Indeed, it is very low. Especially at low speed, the noise of the fan is not bothersome at all, even though the unit (9,000 BTU) in the bedroom is about 1.5 meters above my pillow. The 9,000 BTU unit did make a strange noise at one point, but it was resolved with a simple off/on.

The outdoor unit also has a low noise level, although it is slightly high-pitched. However, it doesn't bother me because it is not installed on the balcony or in a space where someone would be right next to it.

As for filters, it only has the basic washable cloth filter. Nothing else (a big downside for me).

There are 4 fan speeds: silent, low, mid, and high, with high being quite loud. Once the room reaches the desired temperature, the fan speed decreases.

Note that despite the fact that the indoor units of the 9,000 BTU and 12,000 BTU have the exact same dimensions, the 12,000 BTU unit has a significantly higher indoor fan speed (= higher air flow) on the high scale.

The vertical louvers can be manually adjusted left and right (obvious for this price range).

Plastic noises are not heard at all (although I think they are more noticeable during heating operation).

For those who want illuminated buttons and LED indicators like Michael Night's KIT, forget it. Here, the indoor unit has 2 white LED lights (with mild illumination - important for the bedroom in complete darkness).

The remote control works from literally anywhere, even without being directed towards the unit. It is comprehensive yet simple (and tested to withstand falls from a height of 1.5 meters).

I didn't care about Wi-Fi at all. I enter the room, turn it on, and it's ready in 2 minutes.

Unfortunately, this series is exclusively made in Turkey. The "unfortunately" only applies to our national pride, because otherwise the build quality is good.

I had in mind the slightly more expensive Mitsubishi HEAVY INDUSTRIES series, which are considered a "heavier" series made in Thailand. However, I learned that due to higher costs, the Greek market doesn't work much with them, resulting in significantly lower technical support and spare parts delivery times.

Pay attention to the installation (this applies to all air conditioners) in order to:
- Ensure proper ventilation in the circuit, otherwise you will hear a slight snoring sound during operation.
- The piping should not exceed the maximum recommended length, should be insulated with gray non-adhesive synthetic fabric tape (NOT the wide adhesive insulation that will deteriorate and dissolve in 2 years, even if it's not exposed to sunlight!!!), and should have enough slack to collect almost a full coil behind the outdoor unit to accommodate expansion and contraction.

I have the Mitsubishi Electric MSZ/MUZ HR25VF, 9000Btu, purchased in December 2023, with the recycling program, costing 610 Euros.
It was installed in a 4.2m x 3.3m bedroom in a country house.
The heating performance is DISAPPOINTING. It simply cannot handle the cold. It does not have the heating power that a Toyotomi (9000btu), a Carrier (12000 btu), and an Inventor (9000btu) have, which I have in my house. Additionally, it does not warm up the bedroom like the air-conditioner it replaced (a Firstline), which was purchased from Carrefour.
The temperature it produces (measured with a digital thermometer, with a K sensor) from the grilles, on the fourth (highest) setting, is low compared to the other air conditioners mentioned above.
Specifically, the 9,000 Btu Toyotomi (two years old), with an external temperature of 12 degrees, produces 48-52 degrees Celsius on the highest fan setting.
The 9,000 Btu Mitsubishi, with an external temperature of 18 degrees (in the shade, as it was a spring day outside), reaches a maximum of 48 degrees Celsius on the highest fan setting. It fails to raise the temperature enough for you to stay in the bedroom wearing just a t-shirt, even on a spring day outside.
Furthermore, it takes a long time to warm up and start, maybe even five minutes.
After the disastrous experience I had with the Mitsubishi air conditioner, I called the company I purchased it from, which is also the importer of Mitsubishi, for further inspection and resolution of the problem.
The evaluation continues after the actions taken by the company.
I hope the problem is with my unit and can be resolved.

MSZ/MUZ HR25VF(K)2: K is the built-in WiFi. It is from 4/26. It is 8.5/23kg and 21dB. The flap does not close completely so it can dry, unlike the Toshiba I have which runs for 30'. An old-school shopkeeper told me that he does not want it from Turkey, even though it is more expensive, for national reasons.

Powerful machine, it reaches the required temperature quickly, it is well built and the outdoor unit is relatively quiet. It only makes some small noises when it is working at low speed inside the fan, but as soon as it reaches temperature it is silent. I did not see a big difference on the electricity bill; it is economical, which is why I chose Mitsubishi. I believe that proper installation also plays a key role in order for it to perform correctly and without problems. I also use the wifi, which I bought separately.

With this air conditioner, we sweat and didn't know what was wrong. It creates humidity inside the house even if there isn't that much humidity outside. And it creates it at a specific point in its operating cycle, when it has stopped and is about to restart. Now that we've bought it, after spending so much money, we'll have to put up with it.

Update: We have found a way to deal with the high humidity atmosphere that this air conditioner creates: We don't set it to MODE=COOL, but to MODE=DRY. The only thing is that this mode has no temperature adjustment, and someone has to have the remote control in hand all the time, and when the temperature drops too low, we turn it off, and after a while when the temperature rises, we turn it back on. Under this condition, it creates a good atmosphere.

When it starts, after a while it makes a noise like a crack.. Like a strong contraction and expansion.. It does it sometimes during the night.. Like something is bursting inside the unit.. The external one is silent.. In terms of performance, it is excellent.. When it was new, when it started, it emitted a burnt smell.. Now it doesn't smell anymore..

No comparison with the old Mitsubishi, zero performance in cooling, it's a shame that I replaced the 9,000btu Carrier for better and put this 12,000btu and I'm sweating in the summer from the heat and I have called the technician 10 times, no improvement unfortunately.

From the first day, it smells as soon as you start it up. Two weeks and I still haven't figured it out, neither with the Fiorentino that I bought nor with the Mitsubishi. If someone is interested, there will be an update. Until then, stay away from it like me. Update. I have an appointment with the technicians of Fiorentinos to change the entire unit as 7/8 of the air conditioner made a noise in the middle of the night and then smelled burnt, waking me up. Meanwhile, I am sleeping in the living room after being advised by the store not to catch fire. As soon as the air conditioner is changed and if I find out that only my unit was faulty and not the whole batch, I will inform again. Mitsubishi called me to come and see what's happening, but the store told me that there will be an inspection on the unit once it is taken down. I'm waiting...

You get what you pay for. Yes, it is an expensive air conditioner for the features it has. It doesn't have automatic blind movement (you have to do it manually). Yes, the remote control doesn't have backlight, it doesn't have wifi, it doesn't have special programs. However, it is a quiet air conditioner, it takes a little while to get started but it performs well in the heating mode that I have tested. I would like it to be a little more powerful in heating, meaning that when you set it to 25 degrees, it should emit hot air so that you can walk around in short sleeves. But if you imagine that I have it in a 12 sqm room and I leave the door open, despite the many intermediate doors and partitions, it manages to raise the temperature by 3 degrees Celsius in the kitchen, which is at the other end of the house, in 30 minutes. This means that it performs well. Good choice and above all, QUIET.

You get what you pay for. Don't expect fancy space controllers and other such gimmicks, it's the 4th Mitsubishi air conditioner I've bought and it works perfectly. The first one I bought has been working continuously since 2000 without ever causing me any trouble. Other air conditioners I've bought, which were "cheaper," have already given up the ghost and by the time they did, they had eaten up in repairs the price difference I would have paid for a Mitsubishi.

Tested in heating and cooling since summer 2021. In cooling, it really freezes very well. In heating, it is very decent, heating a space of about 60 sqm. It is perfect for the living room, where I have it, as it is quiet. The most important thing is that it is very economical. Last year, it snowed 3 times during winter and with many hours of use, we did not feel any cold at all, and at a low cost. 24000 btu

30/6/22 18000 btu Mitsubishi purchase 900 euros uninstallation of the old one and installation of the new one in a single space of 40 sq.m. The advantage is that with the existing pre-installed pipes 1/4'' and 3/8'', it is the only one that can work at 18000 btu. Now, the performance is very good and immediate in cooling, quiet operation, simple control without many complications, and user-friendly. Above all, it is Mitsubishi, it works perfectly. I bought the 9000btu and 18000btu for my house, at 450 and 850 euros respectively, which I believe is a very good price for Mitsubishi quality. Excellent in cooling and very good in heating! Quiet, it doesn't make any noise. You should know that it takes 5 minutes to start for safety reasons and it doesn't rotate the blinds left and right through the remote control, you have to do it manually (although from what I saw, almost all of them work like this), and for this minus one star.

I installed it last week in the 9,000 btu version. I am satisfied because it is quiet and cools well. These are the two things I wanted. Apart from this Mitsubishi, which is the cheapest in the range, I already have 3 others which are the most expensive in the range (2 9,000 btu and 1 24,000 btu). There is indeed a difference in performance (in the feeling they leave you) compared to the "cheap" one, but in no case such as to justify the double and more price of my other 9,000 btu units. As for the noise, they all range almost at the same (quiet) levels. It is a very value for money choice that I highly recommend to everyone.
update 3 years later: Everything is fine!

It is a machine without many extra features compared to the competition and specifically it does not have a temperature indicator on the indoor unit, it does not have an ionizer, it does not have 500 filters, it has a remote control that dates back to the early 1990s and it is not illuminated. However, when it comes to performance, it is excellent, especially in cooling and it is truly QUIET, not just on paper like various others that promise silent operation. Both the outdoor and indoor units are truly quiet. I bought it for a large living room and it reaches the rooms as well. A reliable machine with exceptional performance.
It should be noted that it has been tested during heatwaves of 40+ degrees and it immediately reaches the desired temperature. That's it

This review is about the cooling power: 9000 BTU

It should be noted that it is a special edition of the Mitsubishi air conditioner. The regular one costs 800€ to 900€. The purpose of these editions - of all companies - is to compete with cheap Chinese products.
-I bought it in order to avoid the troubles one has with cheap products.
We will find out over time if it withstands and does not present any problems.

Unfortunately, as soon as the installation was completed, it was found that it did not have a drop of R32 Refrigerant! As a result, it does not cool, it does not heat. I note that I received it sealed with the packaging in excellent condition. After two days... WHAT A SHAME. P.S. : MITSUBISHI MADE IN TURKEY!!!

  • MSZ/MUZ HR25VF(K)2: K is the built-in WiFi. It is from 4/26. It is 8.5/23kg and 21dB. The flap does not close completely so it can dry, unlike the Toshiba I have which runs for 30'. • Powerful machine, it reaches the required temperature quickly, it is well built and the outdoor unit is relatively quiet.

  • Silent operation – Minimal noise emissions for maximum comfort.
  • Air cleaning filter – Traps bacteria, pollen, and allergens for a healthy environment.
  • Plasma Quad Connect (optional) – High-performance filtering system for clean air.
  • Energy efficiency A++ / A+ – Reduced consumption thanks to smart energy-saving technologies.

  • Value for money: Sturdy construction without unnecessary features.

This review is about the cooling power: 24000 BTU

I would highly recommend it. Dimitris Mamais Alimos

This review is about the cooling power: 24000 BTU

The air conditioner is guaranteed, 24000 for a 45 sqm store. Although it is the economical series of Mitsubishi, it is by far better than all others in this price range. If you are not particularly concerned about WiFi, voice and light temperature indicators, and all the other accessories that are now included, get it with your eyes closed. PS It has been working non-stop for 2 years, winter and summer

This review is about the cooling power: 18000 BTU

I bought the 9000btu and 18000btu for my house, at 450 and 850 euros respectively, which I believe is a very good price for Mitsubishi quality. Excellent in cooling and very good in heating! Quiet, it doesn't make any noise. You should know that it takes 5 minutes to start for safety reasons and it doesn't rotate the blinds left and right through the remote control, you have to do it manually (although from what I saw, almost all of them work like this), and for this minus one star.

This review is about the cooling power: 9000 BTU

This review is about the cooling power: 18000 BTU

Owner of the 18000 btu air conditioner and after a year and a half of use, I have the following to say:
That's it

    Verified purchase

An old-school shopkeeper told me that he does not want it from Turkey, even though it is more expensive, for national reasons.

  • Powerful machine, it reaches the required temperature quickly, it is well built and the outdoor unit is relatively quiet.

  • better get something else even if this is mitsubishi, it doesn't perform well at all in cooling, I thought it was broken, but these made in Turkey ones are junk, you will definitely find something better
