The Phono Box S2 Ultra stands out in its category. The incredible success of the Phono Box Ultra 500 prompted us to introduce this fantastic phono preamplifier into the regular S2 range. The robust metal casing protects against interference, and the internal design remains exceptional as before.

It features a fully discrete design, without OpAmps, allowing us to achieve an incredibly harmonious sound. Additionally, the use of nuclear polystyrene capacitors was decided upon, which significantly contribute to the high fidelity sound of the Phono Box S2 Ultra. These capacitors are widely known in the audio community as the holy grail for phono preamplifiers. The employed separated RIAA equalization allows for the precise application of the RIAA equalization curve, a luxurious feature that is missing from many other phono preamplifiers.
