Description

Description

Installation

It is central and can be used either as the main water heating option for your home or as a supplementary one. It can provide hot water throughout the house for your everyday needs, as long as there are suitable pipes for the distribution of hot water. This may potentially result in heat and energy losses due to distance.

Digital Display

It is equipped with an integrated digital display that shows you the water temperature and allows you to choose it yourself.

Compatible with:

  • Copper resistances that offer long lifespan, resistance to water and bubbles wear.
  • Electronic flow control that allows the instant water heater to operate from very low pressures of 0.1MPa and very low flow rates of 2.5l/min.
  • External temperature adjustment with a range of operation from 30°C to 60°C. LCD display for the EPME model.
  • Electronic power and water temperature control ensures stable temperature and great energy savings compared to others.
  • Built-in load transfer system, making it the most suitable instant water heater for cooperation with an electric boiler or other high-power electric device.
  • Possibility of cooperation with a boiler, solar water heater, or heat pump, allowing the instant water heater to operate with preheated water up to 70°C. (For inlet temperatures above 70°C, a thermostatic mixing valve is required.)

What is an instant water heater?

The instant water heater is a type of heater that heats water in real time. It only heats the water that passes through it at that moment. There is no storage tank for hot water. This has many advantages, such as energy saving, as only the water that is used is heated, and longer lifespan, as there is no water tank and accumulation of salts in the heating element and other components.

It operates on electricity and is single-phase.

How It Works

The instant water heater has a cold water inlet pipe, which passes through the resistance, heats up, and comes out in the hot water outlet pipe. A necessary condition for the instant water heater to initially operate is the pressure of the cold water inlet should not be too low.

The temperature of the water is regulated by a thermostat, so as not to exceed a maximum value. The temperatures reached by the hot water are pre-set so that someone can use the hot water directly, without the need for mixing with cold water.

The maximum temperature that can be reached for hot water production is 60 °C, while the maximum flow rate of the water reaches up to 5 liters per minute. Indicatively, 38-42 °C degrees are the standard for shower use.

Advantages of instant water heaters compared to traditional electric water heaters

  • It is small in size and does not take up much space.
  • There is no energy loss, as only the water that is being used is heated at that moment. Therefore, there is savings on the electricity bill. In a traditional water heater, the unused hot water goes to waste.
  • The hot water used in the instant water heater is used as is, without mixing with cold water, as in a traditional water heater. This results in water savings, in addition to electricity.
  • There is no need to wait for the water to heat up. As soon as we turn on the faucet, hot water starts running in a few seconds. A traditional water heater takes some minutes, depending on its size.
  • The hot water never runs out. As long as we have the faucet open, we will have hot water.
