The device is used for space heating using solid fuels (natural wooden logs).
The device is made of cast iron metal parts except for the steel parts of the ash pan and the metal handles, and the ceramic transparent material that covers the fire door.
The device is manually operated and is intended to be installed as a freestanding appliance.
The combustion air enters naturally through six (6) longitudinal openings located between the fire door and the ash pan panel. The combustion air is directed directly to the base of the fire chamber without preheating.
The smoke gases produced during the fuel combustion process are directed to the flue outlet located at the back of the fire chamber, without being diverted by an internal deflector inside the fire chamber.
The ash is directed by gravity through the lower grate to the ash pan located below the fire chamber. Access to the ash pan does not require opening the fire door.
