I bought 4 for use in the pool. They were placed 20 inches below the water surface. On the third day, 2 of them stopped working. They took in water, resulting in oxidation. In 5 days, the third one started not accepting commands for white light or blue light. I will place the fourth one in a display case as a collectible to remember buying them.

I have placed it at the back of a showcase for "hidden" lighting. Its shades are quite intense, the colors vibrant, and its response to the remote control is good, although the location where it has been placed is a "difficult" spot.
Its functionality in the place where I put it was very limited, less than an hour per week. There are other LED strips in the space with their own remote controls, some of them controlled through Alexa.
In the second month, it changed the order of colors, to get blue you had to press green on the remote control, for red, blue, etc. Two weeks later, it started obeying commands from a "third" remote control, and a few days later, it started turning on and off by itself whenever it wanted, at any time and in any color :-) And of course, it was not a battery issue...

I don't know if this happened only to mine, but due to the fact that the problem occurred so quickly, I would not recommend it for purchase...

I have placed it in a feng shui fountain.
The 3 AAA batteries last for about 10 hours.

Edit: With rechargeable AAA batteries, it operates for 5-6 hours.
Edit2: I now operate it with an adjustable power supply and voltage up to 3v, not more because I will burn them. It is stable, insulated with silicone, and operates smoothly.
