80 Plus Bronze Certification

The performance of your power supply is important as it directly affects the performance of your system and power bill. The efficiency rating does not reflect the quality or reliability of a power supply. It only reflects the unit's ability to transfer energy from the wall to your components. The higher the efficiency of a power supply, the lower the overall amount of power needed to supply your system. The MWE Bronze series has an 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency rating, which means it has a guaranteed typical efficiency of 85%.

DC to DC Circuit

Power is supplied at multiple voltage levels. The wall provides power at one voltage level, but your components need a specific voltage to function properly. The process of converting raw power from the wall to the multiple voltage levels that your components need requires special components to complete this process quickly, efficiently, and safely. The DC-to-DC + LLC technology of the MWE Bronze was carefully designed to achieve this goal. The Dual Forward circuit layout is designed to convert 12V power to 3V and 5V levels with minimal ripple noise, 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency, and reduced risk to your connected hardware.

Silent Operation

The continuous battle between cooling and noise is as old as the consumer computer industry itself. Keeping your components cool without having to listen to them while you work remains one of the biggest challenges for all fan-based cooling technologies. The MWE Bronze addresses this issue with a 120mm HDB fan. The fan's hydro-dynamic bearing creates less friction, making it ideal for low-speed operations. This technology keeps the fan running smoothly and efficiently for longer periods, keeping noise levels low and extending the lifespan of the power supply.

Flat, Black Cables

For many people who have aesthetics in mind, wiring can be one of the most annoying parts of assembling a computer. Cables can be confusing, too short or too long, and almost never look good. The MWE Bronze uses flat and flexible black cables to help address these issues. These cables are more discreet and flexible, making it easier to apply them to your system while taking up less space. This is particularly useful for smaller cases and maintaining airflow.

System Protection

The processes required by a power supply unit to receive power directly from the wall or another stable power source, convert it to the correct output required by the connected components, and then distribute the power to those components safely can be filled with risks.     Truly awesome power supply, a very high-end bronze platform, with very good performance and voltage stability. The only negatives are the recent change to worse capacitors, which doesn't seem to affect it much, the noticeable fan noise, and the fact that it is full wired. However, there is nothing better for this price. Truly the king of value for money in power supplies!
