Description

Construction Material

The Sanitec Classic sink is made from selected minerals mixed with high-performance polymer resins and special additives that act as tension balancers in the molecular structure of the solution. The result is a compact sink with a reinforced surface that has exceptional resistance to adverse conditions of use (such as high temperatures up to 180°C, scratches, liquid cleaners, etc.).

Installation

The installation is inset, meaning it is recessed into the countertop and its rim protrudes. It is the easiest and most common installation for kitchen sinks. Essentially, the weight of the sink is supported by the countertop itself, and there are simply some support points on the bottom for stability. Sealing is achieved with insulating material, such as silicone, which is placed around the opening, beneath the rim.

Pots

The main sink is located on the left and next to it there is a second one about half the size, which can be used as an auxiliary for more capacity and greater flexibility in your kitchen.

  • Sink depth: 22.5 cm

Reversible

The sink is reversible, which means you can choose its orientation according to the needs and design of your kitchen (i.e., you can place the drainboard either on the right or on the left).

    I have had the synthetic sink 305 for four years and about five months ago it developed a crack in the middle. It's not a complete break, it just can't withstand hot and cold temperatures, and I say this because before this one, I had the same sink for seven years and it had the same issue. I didn't bother with the warranty because it had expired. Now it's under warranty, but they don't cover anything, only manufacturing issues. (Can someone tell us what those are?) I wonder why they sell them with a six-year warranty if they can't withstand hot and cold temperatures, even with single-person use. I do not recommend it to anyone

    Very good construction, well-made and I even found out that it is a Greek company, something that I hadn't noticed in the installations I did as a plumber (because it came from the customer and not from me). In terms of its quality as a polyester and not granite to avoid confusion, this Greek construction is far better than various foreign manufacturers, always in its category! The only "slightly negative" thing is the trap, in which the manufacturer can choose a simpler trap (available in the market) with fewer connections in terms of assembly and connection to the sink, or otherwise have the plumber replace it from the beginning by purchasing it from the market (valued between 5 to 7 euros). The above opinions are purely personal.
