- Strong thermal ecological insulation of pre-compressed fiberglass, 30mm thick, coated with black fiberglass fabric, to minimize thermal losses. Thermal conductivity of fiberglass insulation: λ=0.037 W/mK (DIN 56612, measurement at 10°C).
- The return and supply pipes (headers) are perforated with outward expansion, for the perfect fit of the heat absorption pipes (manifolds) and to avoid pressure drop in the collectors.
Distance between pipes (tube pitch)=105mm. - Unified selective absorber made of selective metal sheet (Sun-Selective, Complete area absorber), with high absorptivity and low emissivity, covering the entire surface of the window as well as the supply and return pipes, increasing the collector's absorption capacity. The welding is performed with state-of-the-art laser robotic equipment.
