In the second part of the book, based on unpublished archival material, the strenuous efforts to rescue Greek Jews are documented, which began in the autumn of 1943, when most were no longer alive. The second edition of the book is enriched with lists of Jewish prisoners of war or detainees in Nazi camps who returned to Greece. In addition to their names, their ages, professions, and dates of arrival, from April 17 to October 11, 1945, are provided.
