These engines are installed in many models such as A Class W176 (2012-2018), B-Class W246 (2011-2018), CLA Class C117 (2013-2019), GLA Class X156 (2015-2019), GLC Class X253 (2015-2019).

The installation of a blowoff valve is deemed necessary especially if there has been a reprogramming for power increase because, at increased turbo pressures, it maintains stable pressure and has immediate throttle response. It contains a piston instead of a membrane for trouble-free operation in hot climates where the membrane of the factory blowoff valve easily gets damaged.

It is adjusted according to the turbo pressure with springs of different hardness.
