They smell a bit when burning but the scent is nice (personal opinion). They work perfectly, light easily, burn for a long time, and produce fantastic grilling. They just need, like all products, attention not to "draw in" moisture. The bag is made of paper, so be careful with storage.

I can't understand what's going wrong. The charcoal seems to ignite on the periphery and then extinguish on the outside, while the core is still hot, resulting in a noticeable drop in temperature. I have a lotus grill and I've never had a problem with any other charcoal like this one. If I use too much, it ignites slowly. If I use less, it loses temperature even though I have the fan on full. Unfortunately, I will probably have to use it as a mixture for assistance along with regular charcoal.

I bought the package a year ago. I tried it once but was disappointed. I wrapped the package in cling film and stored it in the garden. The other day, I decided to give it another try.

I really enjoyed it. I used a large starter container and 2 small fire starters. In 10 minutes, all the briquettes were lit, and I started cooking.

In 1 hour, I grilled 1.5 kilos of chicken ribs, 6 chicken skewers, and 3 steaks, and the fire was definitely strong enough to grill more.

First of all, they do not produce the suffocating smoke of charcoal. Even sitting above the fire, you have no problem and you don't get dirty. They don't throw sparks or ashes onto the food; on the contrary, they give off a pleasant (to me) aroma.

What you need to do at regular intervals is to boost the fire with a fan or some other method to keep it strong.

Charcoal is definitely a bit stronger, but it has many negatives. Personally, I will use these from now on as I was quite satisfied.

I have been using KLEMIS charcoal for years and I have some experience with them. First of all, they light easily with the method I use (I place them upright in a circular order, I put a little paper with a lighter in the middle, pour a little blue alcohol and place more charcoal on top. Once the initial fire starts, I use a small fan to strengthen it and spread the flame to all the charcoal). After they light up, I spread them out and start grilling. They have a minimal to no smell, they don't produce smoke, they don't spark, and their round shape is convenient. Their major drawback is DURATION. From the moment they light up, after about half an hour, they turn into ashes. I have the feeling that in the past, their duration was longer. By decreasing in volume, they also lose grilling power. If they had a longer duration and power, they would be the perfect charcoal.

It lights up very easily in a starter container, but its duration and intensity were disappointing. I haven't seen any other briquette or plain charcoal that is so bad.
