    Sodium Benzoate Preservative,

I read on the internet: In 2007, a question was submitted to the European Parliament stating: "Recent research by Professor Peter Piper of the University of Sheffield suggests that preservative E211, along with the formation of benzene in combination with vitamin C, can cause immediate harmful effects. E211 in soft drinks such as Sprite or Pepsi Max can lead to cell damage, resulting in diseases such as liver cirrhosis and Parkinson's disease. Does the Commission acknowledge this concern? Could this lead to a general ban on preservative E211? Is the Commission considering imposing a non-harmful alternative solution for sodium benzoate (E211), such as sorbic acid?"

I think potassium sorbate is much better (better to have no preservatives at all if possible). I didn't like the taste. I will not buy it again.
