good for its price at 499 but as someone else mentioned, the backlight is intense around the edges, something that the representative said is within limits. The local technical support even said that I shouldn't expect anything more from a "cheap brand".......I apologize for making the mistake and not spending 1300+ on LG

Excellent television, very fast with excellent image quality but POOR blacks. I wonder how some people claim to see absolute black (let them tell us what settings they have made). The backlight phenomenon is intense around the edges and in darkness when black is displayed, then the screen's illumination is clearly visible and the scene ends up being gray instead of black!

The build quality is very good, as is the Bluetooth remote control, and overall it is very beautiful, slim with minimal bezels.

The sound is average, as it could be from a thin screen with small speakers...

Another negative is that it does not have CHROMECAST, which means you cannot cast the content from your mobile to the television, only YouTube through the apps (mobile and television). It also does not have Google Assistant (someone mentions that if you change the region to UK at least it works, but I haven't tried it) and in general it does not have any applications. It has a browser that is fine, convenient, fast, and functional, and it does its job perfectly, it has Netflix and a couple of other apps and that's it.

Also, these apps probably never receive updates! Very important! As they come stock, they remain in this version!

Other than that, the software is very fast and overall the television is great.

For the money I bought it (450 euros), I can't say anything, it is worth it and more. Now for over 500 euros, there are models with Google software which, for me, is by far the best option.

I didn't see it have hdmi 2.1 and in a quick test I did with ps5 I didn't have the vrr option but I don't think it makes sense on a 60 hz panel, I generally don't play on tv but the image I saw from the ps5 was impressive. In hdr content from Netflix, Disney, Prime, I was amazed by the incredible quality. Now I understand what hdr and true black color mean. When the video format has black bars above and below, I have a little light bleeding from below but it doesn't bother me. The sound is average and low compared to a 6-year-old LG that I had, for the first time I started using the soundbar I have which connected seamlessly. Overall good, fast menu.

Regarding 55". Purchased on sale for 402 euros, so the absolute VFM. The television has nothing to envy from expensive brands. It fully justifies its purchase, and with picture settings (Dynamic for my tastes) it takes you to another galaxy..... The performance, as is customary on terrestrial channels, is inferior in image quality compared to satellite and IPTV, but that doesn't mean it falls short in viewing. The sound fully satisfies me. The VIDAA software is not bad, but if combined with an Android box, nothing else is needed. 4k picture on Netflix / Disney + / Prime Video / Apple TV and on Cosmote Sport 4k is top-notch, and since it seems the price offer is ending, even at the current price, it's worth buying.
P.S.: Due to QLED, the black is pitch black without any disappointment, and it also has HbbTV as a correction in the features.
Edit: Cosmote TV has been added.

Purchased at 400 euros the 55-inch on offer.
-Too much backlight bleed around the edges. It ruins dark scenes when watching with the lights off.
-I don't know where they saw black in previous reviews. Everything is gray. If they can, let them share with us the settings they changed to achieve the result they claim. (For screens up to 50 inches, they use VA panels, so better blacks. For screens 55 inches and above, they use IPS panels)
-Viewing angles not so good, even though it's IPS.
-As for the operating system, it is fast and simple.
-I can't give an opinion on the sound. I immediately connected it to speakers via optical fiber.

Update: After 2.5 years (February 2022), the panel burned out and the repair cost is prohibitive. Of course, nothing can be done. It might have just happened, but for me, it was wasted money. Never again Hisense.

Initial comment: I bought it a week ago. The previous one was a 10-year-old 43-inch LG that simply covered "the basics" (except for the sound, which was terrible). I found the design excellent - especially the base. I am very satisfied with the build quality. The colors are amazing and its brightness meets all my requirements. I was blown away by the difference on Netflix and PlayStation. Even my son said, "Dad... everything is smoother in the movements!!! It's perfect!" (He's 8 years old and I don't think he could have described it better). Regarding the sound, without having any particular demands, I believe I made a huge upgrade. Overall, I am very satisfied and I think any reservations I had were dispelled by its 12.5 kg and beautiful silhouette.

  • good for its price at 499 but as someone else mentioned, the backlight is intense around the edges, something that the representative said is within limits. The local technical support even said that I shouldn't expect anything more from a "cheap brand".......I apologize for making the mistake and not spending 1300+ on LG

  • Excellent television, very fast with excellent image quality but POOR blacks.

  • I didn't see it have hdmi 2.1 and in a quick test I did with ps5 I didn't have the vrr option but I don't think it makes sense on a 60 hz panel, I generally don't play on tv but the image I saw from the ps5 was impressive.

  • Regarding 55".

  • Purchased at 400 euros the 55-inch on offer.
