    I take magnesium as a dietary supplement because it helps me with anxiety and insomnia. I have tried magnesium from other companies and I can definitely say that this particular product does not do a good job, even though my pharmacist told me that because it is in "powder" packets, it will be absorbed more quickly by our bodies than capsules. It helps a little with sleep, but it doesn't make a difference in reducing my anxiety and nighttime palpitations (due to anxiety) that I have. Magnesium from other companies also helped with this.
