It is powerful, but when you connect 2+ devices that work 24/7, it disconnects every month and you need to remove the power cable and put it back in
I had the corresponding 5-port model (GS105) for >10 years. The only times I noticed its existence were when I was moving and had to disconnect it to take it with me. Those were also the only times I unplugged it. Although it is at home and doesn't have much hard work to test, I am very satisfied with the 105 and I expect the same from the 108, whose quality seems equally good. So far, I have no complaints, although it has only been a month.
Perhaps the best budget unmanaged switch that offers a plethora of connections, high build quality (quite heavy for its size), stable operation with the advertised speeds, and lifetime warranty. Highly recommended
Lifetime warranty and immediate replacement if damaged by Netgear, high-quality metal construction, does not overheat and is designed to work silently and flawlessly 24/7/365, my standard choice for home and small office switches, the best value for money, it is not worth saving a few euros for something cheaper and much worse in terms of construction with a 1-year warranty... always remember that "cheapness eats quality..."
