The sound is good, with a press of the button it activates a sufficiently loud sound, lasting for three seconds once. Its negative aspect that makes it mediocre for the use I want is that its design allows it to be mounted on the handlebar after the gear shifters and not closer to the grips, resulting in having to direct your finger while letting go of the handlebar for a moment, something that will not be convenient when you need it urgently and assuming you have managed to stabilize it with a counter (as I did) and you don't need a second finger to keep it upright and apply the necessary pressure on the button. It does not screw on, it has a rubber to adjust it and it is not stable. In conclusion, it is a good horn (and waterproof, I forgot to mention) but it will not cover you in sudden situations. However, that is also the reason why someone would use a horn on a bicycle in the city where I reside. For a ride in the countryside or in the province, for example, the same urgency does not apply and the aforementioned negative aspect does not matter at all.
