My experience with the Dyson V15 Detect is disappointing and it certainly does not live up to its price.
After just 2 years and 4 months of normal use in a simple household (without any exaggeration or "heavy" tasks), it developed a serious problem and the main body, that is, the motor, had to be replaced. The repair cost reached €150, which I consider unacceptable for a device that costs about €1200.
The most infuriating part, however, was the company's response. They claimed that the damage was caused because I supposedly vacuumed materials like flour or cocoa — something that NEVER happened. The use was absolutely normal, as anyone would do in a home.
So, you buy an extremely expensive vacuum cleaner and in the end you have to use it with... terms and restrictions? This completely defeats its purpose. We're talking about a device that's supposed to be high-tech and top quality, and in the end it can't even handle everyday dust without the risk of damage.
It's truly absurd to spend so much money and be afraid of how you'll vacuum. There are much cheaper vacuums that withstand much more demanding use without any problem.
In summary:
Excessively expensive purchase, questionable reliability, and high maintenance cost.
I would not recommend it to anyone.

The vacuum cleaner: for me, it's worth every penny 100%. Since before, at home with my boyfriend, we had a conventional electric vacuum cleaner and every time it seemed like a mountain to us since our house is 130 square meters. Now we "fight" over who will vacuum. The only relatively negative thing is its weight, but that also depends on the strength each user has in their hands!
To us, it seems heavy, but we alternate using our hands! Whenever my sister comes to the house and uses it, it seems heavy to her, but DYSON is known for its strong arms!
Its power is amazing! It sucks everything!
It is also relatively small and convenient in size, which means you can use it anytime and anywhere locally without much effort!
The attachment for the sofa is truly a treasure. We have a big dog with long hair, and before DYSON, we didn't let her get on the sofa!
Now she can get on it normally... we take it out during the day on the sofa and clean it quickly and effectively with the attachment!
The biggest shock we had was with our mattress!
A mattress we had for a year and a half!
I decided to vacuum it with the sofa attachment to see what it would pick up! So I emptied the bin and went and vacuumed the surface of the mattress! It was shocking. I didn't imagine that a relatively new mattress had so much dust!
However, the only issue we had with the vacuum cleaner is that after an hour of use, when I took my finger off the trigger, it kept working! And I had to press the trigger two or three times again for it to stop...
Since we have gotten used to it so much, we didn't pay much attention! And yesterday it gave us a message that something is stuck in the hose. I opened it and blew all its parts with the blower, I made it work, and it gave the same message! I didn't force it and we took it for replacement!
Indeed, at the service center, they confirmed what I told them and that it heats up more than it should!
Our problem is the store where we bought it because we have a problem with the replacement since they no longer bring this model! Anyway, I also contacted the exclusive representative of DYSON in Greece, and a solution will be found!
In a few words, the vacuum cleaner is unbeatable, especially for us with pets at home!

Awesome tool that will solve your hands. I have tried many vacuum cleaners in general, but the V15 takes cleaning to another level. It is very powerful and you really need to try it to understand how good it is. The package includes many attachments, from mattress cleaning to every little corner of the house.
Its battery is removable, which is very good for the life of the vacuum cleaner, as if after 3-4 years the battery starts to fail and doesn't last long, you can buy a new one and attach it directly without having to throw away the entire vacuum cleaner because of the battery (I have already done this twice).
It also includes a charging base that requires drilling into the wall and has slots to attach the attachments (not all, I think up to 2, I haven't installed the base yet).
If someone doesn't want to drill the wall, there is also the Dyson Floor Dok base (not included in the package).
Overall, I am very satisfied and I recommend it not so much for its technologies (counting debris and particles, green light to see the debris live as you clean), but for its power and effectiveness on all types of floors and furniture/mattresses.

Transition from V11 to V15. No comparison. The best vacuum cleaner on the market and the best one Dyson has released, of course, in Greece it is generally sold at a high price. With the "Auto" function, it automatically adjusts the suction power according to what it detects in terms of dirt, thus saving energy and battery life. The laser indicator shows you what is on the floor and you can be sure that you have cleaned it. The vacuuming attachment for delicate surfaces with the laser is smaller in volume compared to the older ones and easily fits under furniture, especially with the extra attachment that gives a 90-degree angle.

As for storage, all Dyson models have the stand for the wall where it also charges the cord. All attachments are detachable and can be stored. The only downside I find is that the dustbin is not detachable so you can wash it, but it is the same style of bin in all Dyson models, as well as the weight, sturdy construction but a bit heavy for the hand after hours of use. It is worth it for anyone who wants the best and you will love cleaning in the dark with only the laser light from the vacuum head.

This vacuum cleaner, and probably every vacuum cleaner of this kind, has a trick - it doesn't collect dust due to strong suction, but because it has a rotating wheel that turns upside down and rubs the dust, or cat hair, or carpet - and then it sucks up the dust.

Its battery is sufficient to clean a 100 sqm house again and again, and you still have 85% of its power - in automatic mode.

The disadvantages are that it doesn't fit in a cabinet like the others - so you have to make sure to place it on a wall or somewhere to charge it.

The great advantage is that you can take it and go all over the house without being hindered by cables and carrying the vacuum cleaner here and there.

It is very powerful, I have it on the low setting because it gets stuck on the medium setting. On the high setting, it gets hot and the manufacturer does not recommend it. It also has an automatic setting that increases power if it finds a lot of dust!

It has a head for hair, many accessories that are not shown here, and a laser head that shows you where the dust is on the floor, very useful.

It also has a sensor that measures the size of the dust with sound and shows it on a small digital screen it has. I haven't figured out how it helps - it says that if it sees very fine dust, it means you may have allergy issues and need to vacuum more.

Now - every time you vacuum, you have to open it and throw away what it collected in a bag, and then clean it with a cloth - so the positives are that compared to a vacuum cleaner with a bag that you don't throw away until it's full - here the vacuum cleaner is clean every time, so it doesn't smell like the others that have full bags and you don't empty them.

It is relatively heavy, here you carry the whole vacuum cleaner - but not so much to tire you.

It has the convenience that you dip it and vacuum immediately - but if you get carried away and vacuum the whole house, you have to clean it immediately. All the parts that it consists of open and can be cleaned relatively easily.

I don't know what magic the heads have, but they don't hold any dust from what they collect! All the dust is gathered on the head.

The head always fills up with one sweep, and even if the house is clean, it will fill up.

Also, all the parts can be washed with plain water - especially the back filter, which looks like paper and fills up relatively quickly - it collects the fine dust that the first filter cannot catch... and the best part is that it gives you a message to clean it and a whole video on how to clean it. These are very important because you don't see when this filter is full and you don't realize it - you only realize that it gets hot and struggles.

The battery is replaceable - which is a big positive.

The downside is the price, I haven't tried other similar ones to say if it is overpriced or not. I was looking for these things on YouTube and in other reviews.

In reviews and tests on the internet, this is the most powerful one with the smallest mechanism - it is only surpassed by an English vacuum cleaner that is not available here and has a different style - similar technology.
