The Dermlite GL digital dermatoscope operates with polarized light and is compatible with smartphones. It features two magnifications designed for optimal control of skin lesions. It is sleek, with a unique design and compact size, while also incorporating a high-quality lens (6x) ideal for dermoscopy and a general-purpose lens (1.4x). The unit provides extremely bright polarized illumination around each lens, allowing improved, crystal-clear visualization of pigmented and vascular structures.

The GL allows for capturing highly detailed images using nearly any smartphone or iPad. It is compatible with DermLite MagnetiConnect® smartphone adapters that create a magnetic connection with a portable device. An included snap-on spacer can be used to stabilize the photograph.

The versatile DermLite GL is equipped with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery capable of providing approximately two hours of continuous operation, while the unit automatically powers off after 3 minutes. A 4-level charging indicator offers a detailed view of the battery status. For protection and transport, each package includes a cover with an integrated clip designed to protect the lenses from dust.
