I have had this USB stick since I was a baby and my first computer was an Athlon X2. Now it's 20 years old and I still use it! It hasn't let me down all these years, even though it's only 32 GB, but it was amazing when I got it... imagine, I was in elementary school (?) It's worth it as much as anything if you know how to use it correctly and it's suitable for all purposes!

I bought two of them and the first one burned on the first use. I spoke with Kingston and they told me that the error it had cannot be fixed and I will have to send it back. Such a shame.

The second one works perfectly, I have no complaints.

I don't know if mine is faulty, but it doesn't recognize it on many devices. Additionally, its speeds are very slow.

Update: Suddenly it locked with write protection, and as I read, it happened to others as well. Do not buy it.

When transferring a file, the speed drops to zero. Simply unacceptable. As others have stated, USB 2 is better than this.

In reading, it is very fast, it does not delay at all, at least when connected to a USB 3.0 port.
However, in writing, it is despairing. In transferring a 7 Gb file, the average speed was below 10 MBytes per second.

Very bad USB stick. I bought it for basic needs (formatting, watching movies, etc.) and it just DIED. It is recognized normally by computers, but nothing can be transferred, the transfer speed is at 0.

I had ordered 2 and only one arrived. No matter how many times I tried calling, they wouldn't answer (they must see it). They responded by email and sent me the second one after a few days.

I read some reviews talking about benchmarks and testers. I have one thing to say:
-A 10-year USB stick (USB2) that cost 10 € back then->
Various files of 20 GB, ranging from very small to very large (in a Copy Paste)->
Approximately 25 minutes to write to the stick.
-Kingston DataTraveler 100 G3 32GB USB 3.0 in the same USB port as the previous one (USB 3)->
The exact same files - 20GB->
Approximately 80 minutes to write to the stick.
Out of frustration, I got a promotional no-name one that they gave me at a seminar->
The exact same files - 20GB->
Approximately 60 minutes to write to the stick.
(My PC costs over 2500€ and has a 2019 motherboard and processor, the writes were done from an SSD).

Although I haven't changed many flash drives in my life, this particular one is my favorite and the one I have been using for the past few years. It is very fast in read and write operations, even in USB 2.0 ports. It is lightweight, durable, and has fallen on the floor many times without any issues. The only "flaw" I could find, with great difficulty, is that the sliding mechanism that opens and closes has started to become loose over time (it is not 100% stable in its position) and that in a device where the USB ports are close together, it does not have the smallest possible size, which may potentially obstruct the connection of other USB devices in neighboring ports. 5/5 from me, and if it ever malfunctions (which I don't think it will), I will buy the same one again.

I have quite a few of these and one suddenly broke on me in less than two years and it says it needs formatting. It's really a shame about the money

It is a very slow but cheap flash drive. It is not suitable for serious tasks where recording time matters. If you want the cheapest option for backup, then it is worth it. The waiting time for recording large files is unrealistic for 2020. It writes at 11.47 MB/Sec and reads at 74.81 MB/Sec on USB 3.0, according to USBDeview v2.86. I did not expect such values.

Personally, I have no issue with its performance, as I am not particularly interested, however, I must inform you that it is not the fastest...
Although you would expect great performance from USB 3.0, but when you try it, you will be disappointed...
For its price, I believe it is fine! After all, there are more expensive USB sticks that offer better performance. This is a cheap solution that will not disappoint you. I have bought more than 5 of them in various capacities.

I bought 4 32gb flash drives and only 1 is working.. honestly, I don't know if the 32gb ones are defective but the one that worked is not the fastest. Very slow speed... STAY AWAY FROM THIS

In one word, unacceptable!!!
Disgustingly slow in writing, with a speed that goes up and down from a few MB/second to a few KB/second (most of the time).
On an LG 4K TV, it can't even play movies without constant buffering and freezing!!! I have never encountered a flash drive that achieves this so easily!!!
The Kingston Data Traveler G4 16GB that I have had for years looks like a Ferrari compared to it.
Give an extra 2 euros and get, for example, the Sandisk Ultra Flair 32GB to find your sanity.
I bought it after the Kingston and I laughed at the performance difference!!!
I didn't check how many years of warranty the Kingston has before buying it, but it definitely takes years to write the data you want!!!

Due to the price and 5-year warranty, I give it a 5* rating.

It is a very good USB stick. I use it only as a multiboot. I have no complaints about its performance. It is quite fast. It has been working flawlessly for years. The only thing I am careful about is not opening and closing its case because it gives me the feeling that it will break. Other than that, it is the most value for money USB 3.0 stick available at the moment, I can say!

I bought it today and started transferring files! When I copy a single file, it reaches 25Mb/s, but when I copy multiple files simultaneously, it reaches 5Mb/s! For me, it's enough! I give it 4 stars for speed in multiple files!

Very fast in copies with USB 3.0. It also works as USB 2.0. It hasn't caused me any problems for 6 months. I record movies on PVR from the TV and I have written/erased it. Beautiful simple design with a sliding cover that closes and protects the port and the ability to attach a strap to hang it on your keys. It has a 5-year warranty.

I may have had it here for a few weeks, but it hasn't disappointed me at all. It's fast, as I transferred almost 1gb of memory in a few seconds, whereas with a simple cable it takes around 2-3 minutes. Also, it has a relatively good price. It's worth buying.

I bought it to replace it from another e-shop, I want to transfer some songs and I've been waiting for 10 minutes for the PC to recognize it.

This stick is unacceptable and it's a lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It claims to be USB3.0 but when I plugged it into a USB 3.0 port, the speed is only 4.5MB/sec!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such deception from a company like this?

Attention!!! The stick is not actually USB 3.0 but "compatible" with USB 3.0 ???!!! The write speed may be slightly better than USB 2.0 (around 15 MB/sec as I measured) but in no case does it come close to the real speeds (~100 MB/sec) of a real USB 3. This is not mentioned anywhere on the packaging and in my opinion, it is an unacceptable deception from a "big" company like Kingston. I wonder how they are allowed to sell it as USB 3.0 (Even the connector is painted blue like in real 3.0). Don't be fooled like I was by the relatively low price and the name, and end up buying seaweed for silk ribbons!! A quick internet search will confirm what I'm saying (I wish I had done it before buying it).
