Herpasan ointment moisturizes and soothes dehydrated skin while creating a protective film that accelerates the healing process in cases of minor injuries, scratches, and burns.

Properties of the ingredients:

  • Standardized propolis tincture: Antiviral action, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.
  • Tea tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia): Antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal & anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Ravensara essential oil (Ravensara aromatica): Strong antiviral properties.

    I got a cold sore after semi-permanent lip makeup. I used it from the first day and by the fifth day even the dried blisters were gone without the color being altered at all. I found it excellent and I recommend it.

    While it is advertised everywhere that it helps with the recovery in case of herpes zoster and herpes labialis (and the image on the box implies it)...
    on the packaging itself and in the detailed instructions, it does not mention anything about herpes. It only mentions some generalities about minor injuries and burns.

    My interpretation? The company is not allowed to mention medical conditions unless it has conducted some independent research that proves that this specific cream helps - and there is no such research.

    As for my personal experience, for herpes zoster, it has done nothing until the 4th day of use. If the pleasant surprise happens and this changes later on, I would gladly change my rating.
