Loses one star for the somewhat rough coating that "muddies" the very bright colors a bit and for the KVM that only provides 15W of charging, although it is enough to keep a charged average laptop for 8-10 hours of work. Note that the USB-C connection for the KVM is Thunderbolt 4, and it requires a compatible cable to work properly.

I have it for 6 months, before this I had the G27 Qc (curved) which was also excellent but it was 2K. Gigabyte never disappoints in performance, especially this model has everything top-notch, color spectrum, response, brightness, resolution, and always the super OSD display program of Gigabyte with the great customization it offers (by far the best I have tried compared to Dell, Asus, MSI) ... The only thing it lacks is being curved, if it had that too it would be the perfect monitor ... I bought it for 570, now at 470 it is a real opportunity, maybe the best for this price

I am 41 years old and have been dealing with computers since I was 17. I really didn't expect a monitor to surprise me so much! What colors are these? What resolution is this? Also ULTRA WIDE. I will never go back to dual monitors.

I won't say the same things again as others have covered me. I will only say, crystal clear image. Incredible response time, both in input lag and Ghosting. NO Ghosting at all, And the cherry on top? Minimal Bleeding, I am generally picky about bleeding, so if I'm telling you it doesn't have bleed, it simply doesn't.

I mention the following to future buyers.

1) Connect the DP from the package, I don't know why, but anything else I've tried that I had at home, the monitor disconnected (turned off and on again in 2 secs). So the cable is. If anyone knows what DP cable this is so we can buy a longer one, let us know.

2) Connect the USB cable and do a firmware update. When I did it, I noticed that the menu on the monitor moved faster, before it seemed to have a little lag.

3) Unfortunately, from what I have read, this panel is prone to burnt, stuck pixels. So I also have a black (burnt) pixel. The negative is that the company does not cover just one pixel but more, and I don't know how many. The good thing is that due to the size of the monitor, resolution size (thus smaller pixels), and viewing distance, you will never see it again, Only if you look for it and again you will have to spend some time looking for it. I mean, don't get crazy like in the past with 24-inch 1080p monitors where burnt pixels were visible. Here, with more than one, you won't notice it, unless you say today I will sit all day to look for a burnt pixel.

at 450€ that I bought it, it's really a steal.

I won't comment on the performance of the panel, it is excellent and you can find detailed reviews on the internet. I will mainly focus on productivity.

You connect:
1. mouse + keyboard to the screen
2. PC with displayport + USB 3 passthrough
3. laptop with type c

This way, you can control both the laptop and the PC with the same devices by simply pressing a button on the screen.

The screen only has two USB ports, but in one of them, I have connected a USB hub with a keyboard, mouse, monitor light bar, webcam, and it works perfectly with both the laptop and the desktop. All the buttons (razer deathadder) on the mouse and keyboard work without any problems.

The type c port charges the laptop, but with only 15 watts it can only maintain, at best, the battery. If the laptop is turned off, it can slowly charge it, but if you use it at the same time, it will help the battery last a little longer. It depends on the laptop and how power-intensive tasks you perform on it.

I haven't tried a curved screen, but I think at 34 inches, this one is a bit too much for a flat screen. I would recommend considering a curved screen if someone doesn't necessarily want a flat screen for some reason.

I have had it for a week and I am very satisfied. It is very fast, with an easy menu, very good viewing angles without bothering you that it is not curved. I have been looking for an ultrawide IPS display for two years and really at this price (under 600€), I bought it blindly. Many extras like the KVM switch that solves your hands if you connect two devices on it, low blue, black equalizer, crosshairs for FPS games for those interested, relatively good speakers that get sound from the DP and many more. It is g-sync compatible so it works perfectly with the 2070 S that I have.
